ESL Canadian College (ECC)

ECC’s mission is to provide their clients with a personalized, innovative, and effective yet affordable learning experience that will enable them to learn English more successfully with a newly developed research based curriculum, highly qualified teachers and excellent customer service.

Location:
ECC is located at 200-73 Water St. in the heart of historic Gastown. It is approximately a 5 minute walk from Waterfront Station, the central hub for Skytrain, Seabus and many local buses.

Programs:

At ECC students can improve their overall English skills by taking a general English class:

Beginner Curriculum
Allotted to last three months. This time frame allows the teachers to make sure that beginner students get all of the basic language skills they need.

Intermediate Curriculum
Allotted to last three month. This schedule still has a lot of structure but it allows the teacher more choices regarding grammar and materials.

Advanced Curriculum
Allotted to last three months. The language goals are more complex at this level and the curriculum allows a great deal of choice for both the teachers and students

Building Description:
ECC is located in a heritage building in Vancouver’s most historic area, Gastown. The classrooms and clean, spacious and air-conditioned and offer views of the neighbourhood.

8-10 Students

Average student age:
Between 18 to 35 years of age

Computer Lab:
ECC’s computer lab is equipped with the latest technology, software and ergonomic furniture with a high speed internet connection.

Lounge/Other:
ECC has a high-ceiling lounge, snack and soft drink dispensers, refrigerators and microwaves.
