Where is the house located?
The House is located on the east side of
Vancouver steps away from the famous
(Commercial) ‘Drive’ – one of the funkiest
neighborhoods in Vancouver!
How long does it take to get downtown?
It takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes
to get downtown Vancouver
How far is public transit?
There is a bus stop about 3 minutes away
on foot. The Skytrain Station is a 5 minute
bus ride.
How much does it cost to take a bus or train
in Vancouver?
The cost for an adult is $2.25 in Zone 1
(Vancouver) you can also buy a monthly pass
for $69.00.
How far is the grocery store?
There is a convenience store right
across the street; you can also walk along
Commercial Drive where you can fin all kinds
of ethnic stores. The closest supermarket
(Safeway) is 5 minute bus ride from the
house.
Is there is a library nearby?
There is a Library in Commercial Drive,
but you can also go downtown (15 minutes
away) to the Main Library.
Is there smoking allowed anywhere in the
house?
No, but you can smoke outside the house
in designated smoking areas.
Do I have a lock for my room?
All rooms have their own lock and key.
Is there access to the Internet?
All residents have access to Wireless
High Speed Internet. If you bring your own
lap top equipped with wireless connection.
(Note wireless router is not provided)
What about telephone?
Sorry, the house doesn’t have a phone.
We recommend that you get your own cell
phone; you can get one with airtime as cheap
as $80.00 per month??
What about TV?
There is a shared TV in the living room
that is available to all residents.
What about overnight guests?
Yes, with limitations Maximum 2 nights.

How many bathrooms are there?
There is one bathroom shared by all the
tenants; there is also a powder room in one
of the bedrooms.
What about Laundry?
A washer and dryer are available for
your use; we ask that you supply your own
detergent and fabric softener.
How do I make a reservation?
We require a $80.00 non- refundable
registration fee to confirm your
reservation. The balance of the first month
and last month rent is required a week
before your arrival. (please note that a
damage deposit of 350.00 is also required)
