As Operations Director for the Koto-Ku Canada Experience, Dawn had the privilege of helping manage cultural exchange programs for the past seven years. Her role involves keeping each day, event, and activity running smoothly by explaining programs to visiting students and teachers, organizing schedules, and addressing any challenges that come up along the way. She hires and lead a team of talented English teachers and cultural assistants, ensuring everything from the smallest detail to the overall experience is perfect. I pride myself on building connections, fostering community, and providing an exceptional experience for all involved.
With 18 years of experience as a high school educator, She brings a passion for people, community, and learning. I love showcasing the stunning Squamish landscape, its rich culture, and the incredible opportunities for growth and connection. Her favorite moments are watching students and teachers experience the awe of the mountains and create lasting memories, especially through activities like the Indigenous art experience and the challenging ‘Walk the Bridge’ in Whistler. Every summer, she looks forward to the chance to bring people together to make forever memories!
